The Inferno has Evolved… Lana Harvey is a reaper, and a lousy one at that. She resides in Limbo City, the modern capital of the collective afterlives, where she likes to stick it to the man (the legendary Grim Reaper himself) by harvesting the bare minimum of souls required of her. She’d much rather be hanging out with Gabriel, her favorite archangel, at Purgatory Lounge. But when a shocking promotion falls in her lap, Lana learns something that could unravel the very fabric of Eternity. If the job isn’t completed, there could be some real hell to pay.

This is the first series I've been able to get into in awhile. I've been recommending it to everyone. Makes me wish I read slower lol
  • And You Think Living is Hard.

I’m real picky about first Person Narrative and Graveyard Shift really nails it. Lana is a charming and likable Reaper from the start. The way all the possible afterlife religions are detailed and laid out is fantastic. I look forward to slowly aquiring all the books and following the rest of this lovely store to the end!
  • Can't stop.

Got the first book for free and I was so disappointed when I came to the end. I needed more, I'm just beginning her third installment of the series. I normally don't buy books no matter the price unless I really like a series or an author which rarely happens. I didn't even blink when I went on to purchase the next book. So glad there's 7. I can't stop reading . Such a great series, I love the way it's written, it's perspective and it's humor. I'd recommend to anyone who enjoys dark humor and a great read.
  • Great book

I liked this book :) I like all the detail you put into their political system and how the reapers do their job. I didn't like that Maalik was cocky and flirty at first but when he and Lana started dating he was shy.

This was a great read. The unique perspective on the "afterlife" is eye opening. I was not expecting the ending, but I so look forward to getting the next book.

I gotta tell you. I really liked this book! I've read a lot of books and this one is clever and not a copy or rip off of other books. Well done!

I simply love this book. So much so that I couldn't put it down. I honestly don't read too many novels, So for me to have finished it speaks highly of your skills as a author. I'm definitely going to read the sequel. Thank you
